By Road
Portsmouth enjoys good road connections with the A3(M) / A3 putting London one and a half hours away by car. The M275 / M27 / A27 connects the city with Britain’s motorway network.
By Rail
Portsmouth’s stations offer direct service to London (80 mins) and are well connected to other major cities. It’s just 200 metres from Portsmouth and Southsea station to the Guildhall.
By Air
Southampton International Airport is 20 miles from the centre of Portsmouth and has flights to and from 40 European destinations. London Gatwick and London Heathrow are both approximately 60 miles away and Bournemouth just 50 miles.
By Sea
Portsmouth is served by regular crossings to and from the Isle of wight, France, Spain and the Channel Islands.
